Meet The Teacher
Welcome to my classroom parents and students. I am looking forward to a new year of learning through interaction and cooperation between you, your children and me.
This year I am fortunate to be able to co-teach with Mr. Carrillo and Mr. Villalva. The benefit to co-teaching is that your children will benefit from the experience of three teachers. I will be teaching Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies. Mr. Carrillo will be teaching Math and Social Studies. Mr. Villalva will be teaching Science and Social Studies.
It is a difficult grade because they are transitioning to a more rigorous curriculum, but rest assured that we will guide them through out the year with lots of support and patience. Their success is our goal.
I am a graduate of the University of Texas in El Paso. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and two Associates Degrees in Education from El Paso Community College.
I have lived in El Paso for most of my life. I have two wonderful daughters in college. I love teaching. I could not imagine myself doing anything else. I am completely dedicated to my profession. The best part of my job is my students.
My conference period is from 8:15 AM- 9:00 AM. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Please schedule the conference, I am not always available during my conference period because of meetings, or other conferences.
